Naomi Campbell The Thug

Can someone PLEASE tell me why Naomi Campbell was smiling and laughing on her way out as she was leaving from her last day of community service today? It's such a sad, pathetic society that we live in today, when a person can assault someone else (Which she pleaded GUILTY to, ladies and gentlemen), and because they are a celebrity, get only five days community service. And what adds insult to injury is that she has the nerve to strut her stuff on her way in and out, all five days, in outfits that the majority of the American public can't even afford...ESPECIALLY the EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLAR couture dress that she decided to leave in on her last day. Doesn't it just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside to know that she made a mockery of the justice system in this way? And of course we Americans are partly to blame, since we can't stop ourselves apparently from being such a celebrity-obssessed and celebrity-worshipping society. I haven't really heard any outcry from anyone about her behavior...in fact most of what I've heard is people who are treating her as some sort of hero, including Terrance Howard, who today had glowing things to say about her on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Personally I think anyone who throws a tantrum and hits someone hard enough with a CELL PHONE to make them bleed, is a thug. It's about time we make these people accountable for their behavior. Celebrities are not any more special than anyone else, and they are certainly not above the law. It's about time we show them so when they break the law, and give them the same sentence anyone else would get.
